My “Real Story”
I was born in Delhi, in 1982. Lived in Ashok Vihar (Delhi) till my 8th standard and we moved to Patpar Ganj (Delhi). I got introduced to Karate around mid of my 9th standard, which I explored as great disciplinary sports that not only teaches self defense but makes you realize the importance of will power.
I loved mechanics, physics and mathematics, so the obvious thing for me was to become an engineer. In 2000, I went on to pursue my Bachelors in Computer Engineering from NSIT, where besides learning stuff about computers, I learnt the art of optimizing efforts.
After completing my engineering in 2004, I joined Trilogy. Where the first 3 months (Trilogy’s boot camp aka TU) taught me how to push my limits & build quality, software products. I worked at Trilogy for around 2.5 years and moved on to start my first venture called MyDuniya with Varun Gupta and Ganapathy. I and Varun worked at MyDuniya for around 4 months and then decided to move on and join Via as Technical Architects. I learned the true importance and the art of “execution” at Via.
In May, 2008 I left Via to start LifeMojo with Varun and Himanshu. At LifeMojo our aim was to help people live a healthier life. We tired all the business models that we could think of around Wellness in India and finally settled on one profitable, high growth potential business. In September 2011, LifeMojo got acquired and I moved on to the next start-up.
