Talking to all the nutritionists made me realize that they look at food, health, weight loss and fitness in a completely different way than we do. I want to understand their perspective. I want to know more about food, nutrition, the way body utilizes food and much more along the similar lines. Also this would help me to keep a better check on the business.
I have been learning from the study material for Nutrition and Dietetics course at IGNOU, for which unfortunately the qualification criteria for the Nutrition course is some bachelor’s degree in Biology or Home Science (which I do not have). Anyways, since I was already studying, I thought why not go and get a diploma on Nutrition as well, which would enable me to practice Nutrition as a profession
So I went ahead and checked out the options available in India for someone like me. The best option available for an engineer like me is the course “Diploma in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics” at Bangalore University, of which I am a student now
