The first thing that came to my mind was, if people can use this to push their search results on top. I checked out google’s official blog entry on SearchWiki and it clearly states

The changes you make only affect your own searches.

So when you move a search result up, it is reflected only in your search results and not others.

But SearchWiki also is a great way to share your insights with other searchers. You can see how the community has collectively edited the search results by clicking on the “See all notes for this SearchWiki” link.

So in a way you can try and push your product: not on the top of the search results, but by the quality of the comments
