Ran for 2 Miles today ( Just 24 consecutive miles to go

Dharmendra told me that there is a Marathon in Feburary in Pondicherry. I am aiming to complete that
He also mentioned that anyone, even a sumo can train for a marathon in 18 weeks. I like to believe I am in a good shape than a sumo, so it shouldn’t be impossible
Running in L&T South City during weekdays and in Lalbagh on Sunday’s is working out to be a good thing for me. I have lost a couple of kilos since I started running. It is partly due to the diet control and partly coz of running, either ways what matters is that I am losing weight
[I wish I had done this earlier in my life, instead of trying to follow a stupid shortcut]
December 6th, 2008 — My Weight Loss Journey, Running
I switched from the 3-2 X 4 to 5-2 X 3 (i.e. 5 min Run, 2 Min Walk 3 times) today. I hadn’t thought it would be a big deal moving from 3 to 5 mins of continuous running, but for me, it was. I think I would stick on to 5-2 X 3 for next 4-5 days, but lets see.
I am ready for the 2 miles tomorrow

Today wasn’t that great
I completed 3-2 X 4 and headed back home after a long cool down walk.
December 4th, 2008 — My Weight Loss Journey, Running
It was an awesome run today. I got a bit late due to an OCC meet in the evening, but it was fun. I took my iPod shuffle along with me today.
I did the 3-2 X 4 as per the plan and after about 10 Mins of cool down walk, a power song made me try out the max distance that I can run. I am aiming for a 2 mile run this Sunday, so it was a good time check my progress.
I am happy to see the progress. I could complete 3 Kms at a stretch today.
December 3rd, 2008 — My Weight Loss Journey, Running
Yesterday was the rest day for me. (Actually, I got all dressed up and was doing the stretch that I do before the run, and then we started discussing something important, so I skipped the run)
Today I moved on to the next stage i.e. 3-2 X 4 (which is 3 mins run, 2 mins brisk walk back to back 4 times). The breathing was way better than the previous days, especially during the last 2 reps. I can feel why running is an aerobic exercise, I can feel my lungs improving (but it is too early to jump to conclusions).
Running was fun today, and I hope to run 2 miles this Sunday at Lalbagh.
